호이안과 반경 45km 안의 볼거리

Hoi An is easy to plan because everything falls into three rings: walking, cycling, and needing a car. Knowing which ring you are in settles the day quickly.
Ring 1 — the old town, on foot
- The Japanese Bridge — Hoi An's emblem, and the image on the 20,000₫ note
- Tan Ky, Phung Hung and Quan Thang houses — centuries-old merchant homes with their timber frames intact
- The Fujian and Cantonese assembly halls — Chinese-community architecture, courtyards and curved tile roofs
- The Tran family chapel — far quieter than the rest
- Hoi An market — breakfast and dried goods
- The Hoai riverside at night — paper lamps and rowing boats
All within a 15-minute walk. See also Hoi An old town and Hoi An's lantern nights.
Ring 2 — 3 to 5 km, by bicycle
| Place | From the old town | Why go |
|---|---|---|
| An Bang beach | 4 km | The best beach near Hoi An, with beachfront places to eat |
| Cua Dai beach | 5 km | The pier for Cham Island |
| Bay Mau coconut forest | 5 km | Basket boats through the water-palm channels |
| Thanh Ha pottery village | 3 km | Working kilns; you can throw a pot yourself |
| Tra Que herb village | 3 km | Herb beds and cooking classes; lovely early morning |
| Kim Bong carpentry village | 3 km (across the river) | Traditional woodwork, few visitors |

Ring 3 — 20 to 45 km, you need a car
- VinWonders Nam Hoi An — 20 km, theme park, a full day
- My Son — 45 km, the Cham sanctuary; go early to beat the heat
- Cham Island — 30 minutes by boat from Cua Dai; check the sailing schedule first
- Ba Na Hills — 45 km from Hoi An, a full day
Between Da Nang and Hoi An
This 30 km run follows the coast and is one of the pleasantest drives in central Vietnam. A 4-seater suits one to three people; a 7-seater suits a family with luggage — see 4-seaters and 7-seaters.
